What kind of photos can be submitted? You may submit up to two (2) photos maximum per person. Photos must be owned by you and should depict a photo of the love you and your dog share. The sky’s the limit on this one, so show us the love. If you love your dog and your dog loves you, snap a photo or have someone do it for you. NO PHOTOSHOPPED PHOTOS ACCEPTED. DO NOT SUBMIT PHOTOS WITH TEXT ON THEM. These photos will be disqualified.
Contest starts NOW! Deadline to submit entries is 02/26/14 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Email your photos to: fidoseofreality@gmail.com. Please provide your name, city and state and the names of the dog(s) featured. Without this information, photos will be disqualified. Must include a dog and you agree to ownership of the photo. All photos will appear on the blog (and other social media) and by entering, you give Fidose of Reality permission to use the photo on the blog and for other purposes now and in the future. All entrants are added to our private mailing list and emails are never shared.
When does it start and end? The contest starts now. The contest ends on 02/26/14 at 11:59 p.m. Fidose of Reality staff and their families are not eligible to win in the Fidose of Reality Springtime Dogs.
What are we judged on? Three Fidose of Reality fans will win gift baskets of goodies (see below) You will be judged on: 50% adherence to contest rules and photo contest theme and 50% overall photo appeal/clarity and originality to the theme of you and your dog(s) in love. One grand prize will be awarded. See below for grand prize.
Can my friends and family play? Sure! The more the merrier. We love to see tails wagging here at Fidose of Reality, so spread the word and make your voice heard. Two photos per person, please.
What if I win? Winner will be notified and announced on the Fidose of Reality blog in this thread no later than February 28, 2014. Winner must provide name and mailing address so we can ship you the prizes.
Where Can I See My Photo? You will receive confirmation of photo received and all photos will appear on Fidose of Reality’s Facebook page in an album called “Love is in the Air Valentine Photo Contest 2014″

What are the prizes? Custom made hats for the discriminating pooch (cats welcome, too!) from big to small. The Mad Dog Hatter is a wonderful small business run by Vicki Hunsberger Clendenin. The Mad Dog Hatter makes everything from pirate hats to formal wear and hats for every and any occasion. Our PR (Puppy Relations) Manager, has worn hats designed by the Mad Dog Hatter on many occasions, and they are always a hit.
One lucky grand prize winner will get a $100 gift certificate for the Mad Dog Hatter. This will enable the winner to purchase four hats of their liking. You can view all the design ideas by visiting the Mad Dog Hatter on their Facebook page AND you are also able to work with Vicki so she can craft custom hats to fit your dog.
